An Introduction to Medical IntuitionYou may be aware that we only use a very small part of our brain, with many areas still untapped and unused. As we develop the use of these largely unexplored regions of our mind the skills we embrace manifest as gifts which transcend the physical world we experience through our senses.My gift is Healing and I am a Medical Intuit or Medical Intuitive. Intuition is something that all people have - hunches, premonitions - it is known by many names. Medical Intuition is much less common and requires a strong grounding in the workings of the human body and mind to flourish effectively. What is Intuition?A dictionary (concise Oxford 10th edition) is "the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning". It is a way of knowing, of discerning the truth without explanations or rationalisation. The truth sensed can be of many forms, ranging from knowing who is calling on the phone to a strong feeling warning about impending danger.Intuition is something that we are born with and use everyday. Intuition warns us who is "dangerous", when to be fearful, and when to jump into a situation. Untrained intuition might be confused with emotional desires and fantasies. Accurate intuition produces vital and valuable insight into self, family, friends, business associates and the world we live in. More importantly, intuition provides guidance to nurture hopes and dreams so they may manifest. What is Medical Intuition?It can be said that medical intuition is just another form of intuition. However it's very nature demands increased discipline and responsibility so that its potential for the healing of others can be realised.As noted previously, most people can instinctively and sometimes consciously evaluate the energy of people they know. A medical intuit can do this with people that they've had no contact with, or have not even met. Illness develops from a deep-seated imbalance or ignorance and manifests in the myriad forms we see today. A medical intuit can discern causative imbalance as well as the resulting symptoms. This understanding helps people accept and adjust the emotional, psychological, and spiritual factors and lessons that lies at the root of declining health. As a medical intuit, it becomes very important to tell people the truth, not just what they want to hear. Most people want safe insights, not healthy ones. Additionally, no matter how urgently a medical intuit warns of the probability of an illness, warnings do not heal. Action does.
